DJ 38 Biography

Puerto Rico’s own, DJ 38, started as a local DJ at USF in Tampa, Fl. This helped him land numerous jobs at the most popular nightclubs in Ybor City (Tampa’s nightlife Headquarters). Branding his name through promotional CDs, created an interest to the producer of a radio show called Bajotierra at Orlando’s 88.7 FM La Mega. Acknowledging the opportunity, DJ 38 moved east to venture into Central Florida. Gaining immediate success enabled him to become a well-known DJ in Orlando's Reggaeton scene. This achievement helped him collaborate in Music productions such as "The Sopranos - First Season". It also allowed him to be part of another radio show, this time on a AM station called La Zona.
DJ 38’s schedule started filling up, allowing him the opportunity to DJ at a different nightclub every night of the week. Along, with this overnight success, came the ability to travel to different cities performing as a guest DJ. DJ 38 sets were also heard thru the airwaves of 100.3 FM, Rumba in Orlando, during live broadcasts from nightclubs.

Being such a success, it was inevitable that 38 would get the attention of an artist, whom he had always admired, former lead singer of the duo "Born Jamericans", Notch. Eager to work with the artist, DJ 38 moved to New York City to become his official DJ, a position that he still holds to this day. While in the “Big Apple” DJ 38 was called to collaborate with a fellow “Floridian-Rican” DJ Ñeko during his show “El Sandungueo” in La Kalle 105.9 FM.
After New York, DJ 38 relocated to Puerto Rico, where he became the resident DJ for many famous nightclubs on the Island. He has traveled as Show DJ for artist such as Yaviah, Divino and Mc Ceja, and has been a guest DJ at Mix 107.7 FM. Currently, 38, possess more than 14 years of experience in music, promotions, recording and entertainment as a whole.
Today, DJ 38 has moved to the Valley and, while residing in Phoenix, AZ, is searching to expand his brand to the West Coast.
